Amanda is a native New Yorker. A culinary school graduate, writer, editor, creative director, recipe developer, seasoned ‘chef’ and a self-proclaimed Bronxophile. She's dedicated to shining a light on one of her favorite boroughs — supporting small businesses, connecting people through food stories, fighting food injustice and waste — one article, CSA and compost pile at a time.

When she’s not working, you can find Amanda at a farmer’s market geeking out over seasonal produce, writing impassioned letters to local political representatives, hangin' out with her dogs Luca and Oliver or exploring the culinary and cultural offerings of New York City.
