Alexis Montoya is the Puerto Rican and Peruvian Bronx native behind The Bronx Vegan, a blog highlighting vegan resources in The Bronx through recipes, reviews and more. She is also an organizer and blogger for Veggie Mijas, a Women of Color collective that highlights the importance of a plant-based lifestyle while also intersecting race, gender identity, class, and sexuality.
